Well the 2012 offroad season has officially started with the conclusion of the 6th Annual Canadian Indoor Offroad Shootout.  It was held last weekend at Chesterman's in Tillsonburg, Ontario. This event is under new management and I believe it to best the best in the series so far.  Joe Ferguson from Average Joe's and Eat Dirt Racing along the rest of people that made this event happen have done a fantastic job.  There were many new faces this year from Canada and USA. I hope they had a great time and spread the word. I am already looking forward to next year.

RC Pro Round #3 Madtrax

The Denny's traveled to Huntsville, Ontario for the second week in a row!  To attend the RC Pro series Ontario race round #3 at Madtrax.  Jason owner/operator of Madtrax has hosted his second big event!  This time around with 180 entries.  This event was the most fun we have had in a couple of years.  The track layout was changed from last weekend, which made it even more enjoyable. Jason had a huge bonfire again Saturday night.  The action was close and exciting.  I hope we are able to visit this track again before the season is over! GLORCS at Madtrax

Well the Denny family finally made it out to a race this summer.  We hit beautiful highway 60 through Algonquin park and traveled just over 300km to attend a GLORCS race which was held at a new track in Huntsville, Ontario. Madtrax is a new track (or should I say facility), which has it all, a huge fenced in track, with a large stand and watering system.  This facility has a chalet with washrooms and food (including liquor) if interested. It also has a staging area just outside the track with power and an air compressor.  The area around the track allows for pitting and camping.  A few minutes from the track you will find a public beach, perfect for cooling off between the heats or at the end of an action packed racing day. Jason (track owner) never stopped trying to make his very first event the best he could.  I was very impressed by his efforts to say the least! He even lit up the night sky with very large bonfire accompanied with a live band. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves this past weekend, so much so we are returning this weekend for some more beautiful sights and racing action. Here is a link to the GLORCS Madtrax event gallery.
